The Boat...
A world leading Boat Architect & World Famous Boat Builder bring you "Positive Outcomes"...
"Positive Outcomes" has been specially designed by one of the world leading boat architects - Phil Morrison. "Positive Outcomes" is to be light, streamlined and compact to ensure David has one of the most advanced boats in the world to undertake this amazing journey.
In future weeks we will post pictures of "Positive
Outcomes" as she is being made in readiness for the
January 2008 crossing (Please see our Gallery section).
The boat is currently being built by the highly skilled
boat builder Jamie Fabrizio.
The Designer...
Phil Morrison, although now retired is without question the most experienced Ocean Row Boat designer of our time. Phil was asked by Chay Bligh to design the row boat for the first Atlantic race over a decade ago and has since built on that design to create other more advanced boats to cater for the advance of new products and build materials.

When I first approached Phil last year, with a few sketches of a boat I had in mind, that needed to be specifically designed for a solo attempt, with a brief of a small, lightweight and compact, Phil was already ahead of the game. He had been working on some sketches of the boat I wanted and once assured we were on the same wavelength agreed to carry out the design.
Global Boat Works...

Jamie Fabrizio is in charge of the build and tight schedule that the project demands. With skills developed over 18 years Jamie can offer a unique and quality service, paying particular attention to detail in every aspect of fabrication.
